Yo Christmas!

Must have been my inborn "Kiasu" streak, or maybe I'm fearful of my horrible habit of forgetting. So after I saw a Christmas greeting meant for my sister, I immediately went around MSN wishing some of my close friends.

It was hilarious since it's only Christmas Eve, but better be safe than sorry.

(early) Merry Christmas to everyone and peace to the world! xD

Stranded

My family has officially left for Malaysia today, and I have received the necessities and instructions while they're gone. It feels unusually strange once again, this isn't the first time I'm alone in the house and to be precise, in Singapore once again. But this time is different considering most of my relatives went with them, so I really have no one to go look up. (aside from some other minor distant relatives)

1) I did all my chores within a day
2) There's nothing good on TV
3) My laptop is away for repairs so I'm pretty much left with nothing to do
4) I sleep too much to pass away time, that's not good
5) My home desktop is too slow to utilize any decent internet surfing
6) My gameboys (yes I still keep such things) are well...I'm bored because I'm playing with repeated cartridges that I have long completed

I don't even need to watch The Day The Earth Stood Still to realize how it feels to be technologically isolated, it's not a total isolation considering I'm still relying on certain electronics. But all in all, it has taken 90% of my activities.

I hope my family don't find me rotting in the house when they return.

My December

I'm losing the drive to blog lately, I'm too preoccupied with gaming, my FYP and my ever so needed sleep. But since it's December already, I better get cracking. I don't know the reason why but whenever December comes, you get this intense feeling of serenity lingering all around.

Maybe it's because it's the school holiday period? The month of Christmas?

Who knows, it has always been that way for me at the very least. You just feel all warm, snugly and indefinitely lazy. But overall, you get it's very quiet but surprisingly at ease (not eerily quiet like a horror movie). My family's going for a short day holiday with the rest of my relatives to Genting soon but I'm the only one staying in Singapore, because I simply dread traveling abroad for multiple reasons I don't wish to talk about. So it's pretty much gonna be peaceful, literally.

In Singapore, we don't have Winter, it's just Summer all year round. I'll probably think of some way to recreate a snugly atmosphere, ha.
